Social Media Analyst

Social Media Analyst collects and analyzes data related to social media and digital marketing campaigns. Assists clients in identifying appropriate social media channels for their specific business objectives, and tailors campaigns to the target audience.


  • Manage and maintain client content that ranks for the right keywords, to improve over time across platforms for clientele, ultimately leading to covering more digital real estate, appearing more credible to savvy searchers, and receiving more clicks than paid ads
  • Analyze and report on web traffic from all social media sites, including identifying trends and habits of consumers and provide recommendations on reaching a broader audience
  • Assists organizations in identifying appropriate social media channels for their specific business needs, and tailors campaigns to the target audience
  • Increase the overall exposure of clients by building and supporting SEO strategies, including optimizing keywords in content marketing projects
  • Monitor emerging social media tools to see how they can be incorporated into a company’s business, marketing and PR strategies
  • Use creativity and marketing skills to help generate brand awareness, sales and promote customer service through social media networks 
  • Studies the audience that businesses are attempting to reach and creates plans on how social media will work best for them and their business model
  • Research, implement and manage social listening services to report insights to client teams along with associated strategies for client success 
  • Consistent daily community management of engagements on social channels to ensure platforms are up to date the the clients are best positioned for success
  • Drafting and updating response matrixes for each client team to ensure a structured brand voice is maintained
  • Must be a team player who contributes to the team environment for overall success
  • Consistently interface with emerging technologies, social media monitoring tools, social media platforms, mobile applications, blogs, widgets and overall digital culture


  • Hands-on experience with social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns
  • SEO Certification required
  • In-depth understanding of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Familiarity with online content (experience with WordPress and content management systems is preferred)
  • Ability to identify target audience preferences and trends
  • Time management and multitasking skills
  • Additional qualifications in digital technologies or social media management is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills
  • An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines (previous agency experience is a plus)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
