Director, Digital Media

Location: Orlando, FL

The Director, Digital Media is responsible for the growth and profitability of Uproar PR digital services. This includes being a hands-on leader, working to drive innovative and effective digital strategies across all clients. The Director, Digital Media will have experience building and managing high-performing teams and in working with the executive team, help define the future of our digital offering. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of strategic digital marketing and advertising experience. Over the course of your career, you are able to demonstrate success at bringing value to clients’ through a wide range of digital strategies, cross-channel initiatives, leadership, and day-to-day management of client accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Build, inspire, train and manage a talented and motivated digital team
  • Educate team members on best practices for planning and implementation of digital campaigns, including developing strategies, establishing and implementing tactics and ongoing optimization based on testing and insights
  • Be the direct client contact
  • Stay informed of industry trends, client expectations, market demand, latest innovations, etc.
  • Provide expertise on new business pitches
  • With the team, develop integrated digital marketing and advertising strategies that reach client’s target audiences, delivering value to both existing clients and new business prospects
  • Analyze and interpret campaign performance, deriving actionable insights and apply to future campaign strategies and planning
  • Serve as lead digital strategist for clients and internal teams, with the ability to develop data-driven strategies and plans to reach stated goals

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in strategy, with an emphasis on digital executions; PR and/or agency experience preferred; minimum 3 years of supervisory experience required
  • Successful track record of helping build and present strategic digital concepts/programs, and effectively executing them at the tactical level
  • Strong client management, leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to translate digital trends, technologies and metrics to a variety of internal and external audiences
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines efficiently
  • Experience working with a range of clients including corporate and B2B clients – finance, consumer lifestyle, and technology.
  • Design and presentation abilities (Keynote is a plus)
