Uproar Account Director Recognized by Orlando Business Journal with 40 Under 40 Award

Uproar PR is delighted to share that our very own Account Director, Emily Kruszewski, received a nod from one of Orlando’s most prominent publications – the Orlando Business Journal – with its 40 Under 40 award. The 40 Under 40 recognition highlights leaders from across Central Florida who are under the age of 40, and play a key role in shaping the community in impactful and inspiring ways.

Emily has more than a decade of experience in the public relations industry and leads the agency’s restaurant and lifestyle practice. She works with prestigious brands, including Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Del Frisco’s, ABC Fine Wine & Spirits, Planet Fitness, Special Olympics and more. Emily has led her teams to secure coverage for their clients across a wide range of different media outlets, resulting in 85 billion impressions total.

Emily has also been a driving force behind successful media relations campaigns, including last year’s announcement of Orlando as the host city for the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games, which reached 372 million people. In August, her team worked with Special Olympics to unveil the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games logo. The event took place at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort and told the story of how nine special Olympics athletes from across the country united together for the first time to design and create the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games logo. The event garnered 75 pieces of coverage, 108 million impressions, more than 50 online articles, over 50 TV and radio hits and a national segment on Fox’s America’s Newsroom.

Throughout her career, Emily has worked on and led PR campaigns for some of the world’s most recognizable brands, including SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, General Motors and The Space Coast Office of Tourism. Emily was also instrumental in opening some of Orlando’s most famed attractions, including Mako – Orlando’s tallest, fastest and longest roller coaster, Aquatica®, SeaWorld’s Waterpark and one of Central Florida’s most beloved theme parks, LEGOLAND® Florida Resort.

Additionally, Emily is the head of Uproar’s crisis communication division. Utilizing her experience in working with many crisis situations, Emily advises clients internally, externally and through social media providing insight and perspective.
