Don’t say the V-word at Uproar

At Uproar, we’re mindful of the language we use, the words we speak. There’s one word in particular that offends us; it’s a word we never want to hear.

It’s the v-word.

Yes, that word – vendor.

Merriam-Webster defines vendor as a seller. Oxford goes a step further, defining vendor as “a person or company offering something for sale, especially a trader in the street.”

At Uproar, we use the word partner.

A vendor wants to sell you something. A partner wants to help you build something.

We view each of our clients as partners, and are invested in helping them grow through our media relations, digital media and influencer campaigns.

Partners are there when you need them, day or night.

Partners are an extension of your company.

Partners are invested in your success.

Partners want to go on that ride with you, no matter how bumpy it may be.

Partners care – deeply.

Partners are also in it for the long haul; at Uproar, we deliver results and build relationships that last.
