The team immediately saw the value in applying CCT for this award, recognizing the EEASY Lid’s potential.
After proposing the award to CCT, Uproar drafted a strong application, highlighting how, beyond the average struggles of opening jars, there is a massive inclusivity and accessibility problem within packaging design. In addition to the EEASY Lid being more convenient to open, it is also a lifeline for those who can’t open jars easily, if at all.
As a result of the team’s efforts, Uproar is proud to announce that CCT has earned an honorable mention in this year’s Innovation by Design award in the packaging category. Being awarded on a national level provides CCT third-party validation, helping to drive interest and land more partnerships while proving that the EEASY Lid is an innovative packaging product that can improve the lives of consumers everywhere.
Over the past four years, Uproar has successfully positioned CCT as an innovator and go-to resource within the packaging industry, landing them hits in key trade verticals like Packaging Digest and Food Navigator, in addition to national coverage in Forbes.
Uproar’s successful media placements has increased CCT’s SEO, helping them land new partnerships. During a private label trade show in New York City this year, CCT was approached by an executive of an international food brand who saw the EEASY Lid’s coverage in Forbes. After reading about the EEASY Lid, he knew the company needed it on its jarred products.
