Uproar PR Acquires Two Hermes Gold Awards for Creative Excellence

Orlando, Fla. – May 23, 2012 – Uproar PR, a full-service public relations and social media firm, today announced that the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals has named the agency a recipient of two 2012 Hermes Creative Awards. Uproar took home the gold award for its social media campaign for GolfNow and for its successful pro-bono work with Twice As Warm.

“We are very proud of the measurable and exceptional results we achieved through innovative strategy and follow-through for both of these campaigns,” said Partner and Co-Founder Catriona Harris. “It’s an honor to receive such a prestigious acknowledgement by our industry through this international competition.”

To elevate awareness for Twice As Warm’s sustainable clothing donation movement, Uproar PR developed a targeted media campaign around the brand, garnering attention of mainstream media and TV outlets including The Washington Post, The Chicago Tribune, and ABC.

Also, recognized for its work with GolfNow, powered by the Golf Channel, Uproar successfully increased the brand’s presence in social media by building interaction and engagement with the company’s target audience. Uproar increased conversation, established brand ambassadors, and integrated a way for users to directly utilize social media to book tee times.

Uproar’s public and media relations’ strategies reached and surpassed goals for both campaigns, earning the agency high recognition from the creative professionals’ community.
