Uproar PR Completes Construction and Moves Into Orlando’s Premier Office Space

PR agency moves to larger space following five years of growth

Orlando, Fla. – August 3, 2016 – Uproar PR, an international full-service public relations and social media firm, announces the opening of its new downtown Orlando headquarters. Located in a fully-customized new office space at 55 West Church Street, the move is a direct result of the firm’s growth year over year. The office space doubled in size with nearly 7,000 square feet, giving the agency the continued opportunity to increase its staff over the next few years.

“Having celebrated our fifth anniversary earlier this year, Uproar has grown by 50-100 percent each year since we opened. The move into this larger office gives us the creative space to continue to produce amazing results for our clients and also reflects who we are as a company,” said Mike Harris, co-founder of Uproar PR. “We’re so proud of our success, and believe it speaks volumes for the quality of services we provide for our clients, all while continuing to grow our Chicago and Toronto presence. We’re excited to see what the future holds.”

When people walk through the door, the first thing they notice is the 24’ high ceilings, painted to stand out in one of Uproar’s brand colors, orange. The open concept office area includes custom built desks and a large feature wall with candid photos reflecting Uproar’s office culture. There are eight separate offices for executives and three conference rooms named “Alive,” “Kryptonite,” and “Supersonic,” three major first musical hits that reflect one of the goals of Uproar – to land their clients that first big hit. The office also features a 1,500 square foot patio for creative brainstorms, a full kitchen and a large common area that encourages a balance of work and play.

The space, designed by Walker Design, has an industrial theme that is highlighted by exposed ductwork in the ceiling, large windows overlooking Orlando’s commuter railway, stained concrete floors and a wooden architectural design element overlooking the front desk. Local real estate firm Cite Partners represented Uproar in the commercial real estate deal.

“When we found this space, we knew this was the one. Even as a concrete shell with no infrastructure – we could see the vision,” said, Catriona Harris, co-founder of Uproar PR. “It was originally built for retail, but between the high ceilings, open windows and amazing views of historic Orlando, it just FIT our culture so well.”

“This new Uproar office is THE premier space in Orlando. We are proud to have designed one of Orlando’s most stunning office environments,” said Toby Walker, President of Walker Design. “Being able to be playful yet professional in this design was just such a perfect fit for the space and Uproar!”
