Uproar PR Gives Back, Donating 4,900 Diapers and Wipes to Children’s Home Society of Florida

For the second year in a row, the Uproar team is donating thousands of diapers to the Children’s Home Society (CHS) of Florida for its annual Spring Baby Shower. For many Central Florida families, parents have to make the near impossible decision to pay rent or buy diapers for their little ones.

To help alleviate some of the burden for these families in need, the Uproar team came together to help more than 1,000 babies in Central Florida with a total donation of more than 4,900 diapers.

The agency is matching the team’s generosity with 4,900 baby wipes.

This is Uproar’s second year participating in the Spring Baby Shower, donating a comparable amount of diapers and wipes to CHS in 2018. Uproar has also participated in back-to-school and holiday drives for the organization.

“Each time we come together to donate to CHS, I’m blown away by the generosity of our team and their willingness to give from their own pockets to the people in our community that need it most,” said Catriona Harris, CEO of Uproar PR. “I know I can always count on my team to step up and give. We’re excited to donate baby supplies by the thousands and make a difference.”

CHS’s mission is to end the need for foster care by delivering the right solutions at the right time to keep more kids safe at home with their families. The organization builds upon parents’ strengths, and empowers them to raise their children in healthy, nurturing homes.

Uproar believes in making a difference for the Orlando community. One of the agency’s key perks for its employees is the option to take a paid day off from work to volunteer with their charity of choice. Additionally, the firm provides pro-bono public relations services to local charities to elevate the hard work done by organizations looking to do good in the world.
