Uproar PR Strengthens National Presence with Expansion to New York City, Plans to Add 20 Jobs

PR agency taps country’s largest media market for its fourth office to continue providing clients with top-tier service

Orlando, Fla. – August 24, 2016 – Uproar PR, an international full-service public relations and social media firm, announces the opening of its newest office, located in New York City. Following five years of impressive growth of nearly 600 percent across its client roster and team members, the firm’s fourth location, in the heart of a major media market, allows Uproar to offer its clients an even higher level of service. The news comes just a couple weeks after the agency moved to a larger, custom-built space in Orlando. In addition to New York City and Orlando, Uproar PR has offices in Chicago and Toronto.

“With several of our clients already based in New York City, we saw the opportunity to grow as an agency there,” said Mike Harris, co-founder of Uproar PR. “Couple that with the fact that the city is seen as the epicenter for top-tier media, as well as a hub for international business, it became clear that this was the next logical step for the agency. We see this office as the ideal location to grow, and we plan to hire 20 people locally to support that growth.”

Lindsey Platts, account manager, will lead the New York City office and help Uproar establish a strong presence in its new market. Platts joined the agency in 2013 and specializes in developing strategic media campaigns for clients across a wide range of industries, including consumer products and technology.
