Each quarter, Uproar PR treats its employees to a reward day for reaching a company goal. After we’ve spent the quarter working hard securing coverage for our clients, it’s time to let loose and have fun outside the office.
The Chicago office’s Q3 reward day was spent with the Chicago Cubs. Uproar rented a rooftop suite overlooking Wrigley Field and the Chicago employees enjoyed an afternoon baseball game and some quality time with coworkers.
“My favorite part of the day was getting out of the office with my coworkers from different teams and getting to know them better,” Account Executive Ashleigh Giliberto says. “Connecting outside of the office on a personal level helps build better camaraderie and collaboration back in the office.”
Uproar prides itself on having a strong culture, and events like this help strengthen that culture. Account Coordinator Tori Banser says she enjoyed getting out of the office and being able to talk to all of her coworkers and getting to know them better.
“Not only do these kinds of events get us out of the office, but they bring the team together, help us bond and help create friendships that ultimately lead to better working relationships,” says Account Manager Christine Curtin. “They also show that Uproar cares about its employees and reward a job well done.”
