ORLANDO, FL and CHICAGO, IL – ( Jun 7, 2016) – Uproar PR, a full-service public relations and social media agency, announces its acceptance of three new awards. The agency’s campaign for Knix Wear’s eight-in-one Evolution Bra received the Platinum Hermes Creative Award for Best Product Launch. Its pro bono media relations work for the Orlando Science Center received the Gold Hermes Creative Award. Uproar PR also announces it received the USF Fast 56 Award for the second year in a row, a recognition that celebrates the world’s fastest growing University of Southern Florida’s alumni owned and led businesses.
“We’re incredibly proud to have used our media relations expertise to meet and exceed the goals of our clients,” said Catriona Harris, co-founder and partner at Uproar PR. “To have our work recognized within the industry and by our co-founder Mike Harris’s alma mater speaks to the creativity and innovative work of our entire team.”
Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition that recognizes creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional materials, programs and emerging technologies. The competition is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. For the Knix Wear Evolution Bra product launch, Uproar secured media placements in top-tier fashion, fitness and lifestyle publications that assisted in the Evolution Bra being named Kickstarter’s most funded fashion project and most funded female project to-date. Uproar’s media relations work for the Orlando Science Center brought a locally-based client to the national stage. The Orlando Science Center’s events appeared in more than 50 TV segments, and thought leadership angles resulted in coverage in major national news outlets.
The USF Fast 56 identifies, recognizes and celebrates the world’s fastest growing USF alumni-owned or alumni-led businesses. The awards are based on the companies’ revenue and celebrate their success while also providing a forum to pass lessons to the next generation USF entrepreneurs.
