To keep the media updated on the latest news from VizyPay, Uproar regularly crafts press releases announcing newsworthy developments at the company. These announcements were distributed to relevant media outlets across various verticals, including local Iowa markets, national dailies and payments trades. As a result of targeted pitching efforts and relationship building over the course of several months, Uproar secured a feature for VizyPay in American Banker, reaching 407.8k readers. Additionally, Uproar was able to secure coverage in major payments trade publication and client goal, Payments Dive, which highlights VizyPay’s mission to exclusively serve small-town businesses. The article included several direct testimonials from VizyPay customers that addressed how the services are excellent for merchants and noted that this is translating to great success for the company and remarkable growth. Payments Dive reaches 132,000 online readers. The impact of the article was further increased as it was shared in two email newsletters and two Twitter posts, reaching an audience of 151,000. Other notable secured coverage includes Axios Des Moines (26.3M online readers) and Tech HQ (354k online readers).

Uproar also tells the stories of VizyPay’s executives to help VizyPay recruit great talent that fit into the workplace culture. For example, the Uproar team utilized Director of Operational Strategy Kyle McCann’s inspiring firing/rehiring in 24 hours story to share with national workplace reporters. After gaining interest from CNBC Make It, Uproar coordinated an introductory interview with McCann and an official interview with him and CEO Austin Mac Nab. The resulting article was picked up by 9 regional NBC affiliates across the country, including Dallas, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Diego, Connecticut, Philadelphia, Boston, Miami and New York. CNBC also shared it across its Make It and centralized social media platforms. In total, McCann’s story reached 534.81M total combined impressions.

Building upon VizyPay’s already strong reputation with local media, Uproar secured a feature story in Business Record’s April and July 2022 print editions. The multi-page spreads detailed VizyPay’s bootstrapped origins, its founding mission to disrupt the payments industry and its outstanding growth. This coverage of VizyPay also highlighted the company’s upgrade to a larger headquarters to accommodate rapid growth and reported on the company’s hiring blitz to augment its diverse, talented workforce. The July issue also shared the company’s innovationLEADER award win. In addition to print, the piece ran online on Business Record’s website and in multiple newsletters, reaching a total audience of 187,000 local readers. Since then, Uproar has maintained a relationship with the publication, having in-person meet ups with reporters and regularly published announcements, company news and the like.
