CES is the ultimate opportunity to showcase consumer tech products and services to a large audience. However, with it costing $100,000 or more to have a booth, it’s more difficult than ever to attend, let alone stand out from the more than 4,000 exhibitors and capture the attention of reporters.
Uproar PR is here to help. Using our media relations expertise, we give companies of all sizes and sectors the opportunity to also be recognized as companies to watch among larger brands at CES.
Uproar’s CES Media Showcase
We’ve partnered with clients at CES for more than a decade, and we’ve figured out the secrets to getting them the most attention at the show. One of the keys is to get in front of reporters as early as possible.
Since reporters want to write their stories before the show floor even opens, Uproar PR hosts its CES Media Showcase in an easy-to-access location where reporters can spend time with a handful of curated companies and their products. Our annual event gets clients one-on-one time with national and technology reporters from top-tier outlets.
Uproar’s CES Media Showcase won “Most Innovative Media Relations Campaign” in the 2024 Bulldog PR Awards, a prestigious PR industry event.
Our 2024 CES Media Showcase was a huge success, attracting more than 100 reporters who got to experience clients’ products firsthand. The showcase resulted in more than 190 pieces of media coverage, including tier-one media outlets such as The TODAY Show, ZDNet, WIRED, ABC News and The New York Times’ Wirecutter. In total, coverage we secured for our clients reached more than 900 million people.
Booth Support
For clients who have booths, pre-show press days are just the beginning. Our team members are an extension of your team on the show floor. Not only do we support scheduled interviews, but our team also walks the floor and brings top-tier and trade media to your booth for interviews. At the end of each day, our team follows up with reporters to make sure they have everything they need for their stories.
Post-CES, the follow-ups and pitching don’t stop. We ensure reporters remember your products for their roundups and standalone pieces.
Media Relations
Throughout the entire CES experience, our team provides a full-service media relations program. This includes everything from media outreach, scheduling interviews and writing press releases to providing on-site support at any press events and providing end-of-day recaps on all PR initiatives.
We are constantly pitching new story ideas to the media to reach your target audience. We not only pitch media attending CES, but we reach media who aren’t at the show but who we think will be interested in your company news. Communication with reporters is constant, ensuring all information is received, properly positioned, and appropriately understood.
