“‘Twas the week before Christmas, when all through Uproar
All the PR pros were buzzing, awaiting that next big score;

Here at Uproar PR, we love a reason to celebrate (its part of our corporate culture!) – whether it’s a client placement, a coworker’s birthday or the holidays!
Over the past month, we’ve embraced our holiday spirit with activities both inside and outside of the office. Starting with “Uproar’s 12 Days of Christmas,” the team enjoys a fun activity each day. From making snowflakes to hot chocolate parties, an ugly sweater day, ornament and desk decorating and more, we make sure to take a break and spread some holiday cheer around the office.
With the holiday season also running into the end of the year, we hold our Annual Uproar Retreat, a three-day conference where the entire company flies down to the Orlando office for full days of educational sessions, “getting to know you” games and an office-wide Secret Santa. Not only are we able to bond together in one place, but we also celebrate our accomplishments and gear up for a successful year ahead.
The end of the retreat is our grand finale – the annual holiday party! This year, we took over a local Orlando winery and enjoyed dinner followed by an intense White Elephant game, where prizes ranged from round-trip private plane tickets to the Bahamas, a smart TV and even an extra free week of vacation! Then the team hit the mics for some (slightly tone-deaf) rounds of karaoke.
But wait…there’s more! It all culminates with giving our staff an extra week vacation between Christmas and New Year’s Day, so they can spend more time with friends and family. It’s the perfect wind-down to a busy year and a chance to relax before the madness of CES!
