Uproar PR named to Best Companies to Work For list by Florida Trend for Fourth Year in a Row

Uproar PR proudly announces it made the 2018 Florida Trend’s Best Companies to Work For list. For the fourth year in a row, Uproar was recognized as a top workplace by Florida Trend, a monthly magazine covering the issues, people and ideas that define Florida business.

This year, Uproar ranked No. 28 on the Best Midsized Companies list. In order to qualify for the Best Companies to Work For list, employees fill out an anonymous survey and responses are used to generate a ranking. Organizations are categorized by size, with the “midsized” list reserved for companies with 50 to 249 employees. 2018 is the first year Uproar was included in the midsized category, marking a year of rapid growth for the agency.

Understanding that employees are a company’s greatest asset, Uproar provides a variety of perks in addition to traditional benefits, including half-day Fridays, an annual retreat and quarterly reward days. Uproar also always tries to make a great first impression with our employees – on an employee’s first day, Uproar throws a welcome party in their honor, which can include anything from an ice cream social, a mimosa toast or a nacho bar.

When employees need a break during the day, they can enjoy a quick game of foosball or skeeball, find their center at a meditation session and refuel with unlimited snacks (even beer and wine). We’re always looking to make Uproar a place where our team is motivated to come in, work to produce the best results possible, and have fun while doing it, which often means adding fun new perks, including our recently launched monthly in-office yoga sessions.

Happy employees produce better results for clients, and Uproar’s unique company culture helps drive impactful results for its clients. Even the office space itself, with personal touches like two walls dedicated to team photos and custom artwork commissioned by an Orlando artist, embodies Uproar’s creative and team-centered culture.
