Uproar PR – A Culture-First Company

Having a positive workplace environment isn’t just a perk for employees – it’s a necessity. Here at Uproar PR, we recognize that public relations is a demanding industry so we strive create a PR company culture where employees are excited to come to work.

In addition to perks like half-day Fridays every other Friday, employee welcome parties and our internal fun committee initiatives such as holiday potlucks and games, Uproar PR recognizes the importance of celebrating employee successes. At Uproar PR, client results are tracked for each team and points are awarded based on successes. For hitting the company’s quarterly point goal, the entire office shares in a reward.

Most recently, the Uproar PR teams were rewarded with a spa day after a successful Q1. Both the Chicago and Orlando office freed up their afternoons and were able to head to the spa for a complimentary session of their choosing. This day of relaxation came with nail services, massages, body scrubs and free food. Reward days like this are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Uproar PR’s company culture.

Uproar PR also believes in supporting the local community and encouraging employees to get involved. A couple initiatives include our volunteer days, where employees are free to take a paid day off to volunteer at a charity of their choosing, and our office donation drives for Children’s Home Society of Florida.

Uproar PR most recently participated in Insurance Office of America’s corporate 5K, also known as “Orlando’s largest office party.” The Uproar team was among the 18,000 runners and 700 local companies that participated in downtown Orlando race. Proceeds from the 5K benefitted Track Shack Youth Foundation, a non-profit organization that promotes health and fitness through youth athletics and sports program, and the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.
